Cooley Creek not yet platted.
In 1876, C.E. Cooley—a former army scout, soldier and prospector turned rancher—bet on a round of cards for the land in northern Arizona he owned with his partner. To win, he had to play a low card, and “show low” he did, not only taking the ranch but naming a future city in the process. And a very special neighborhood in Show Low Bluffs takes its name from Cooley. Currently in the conceptual phase, Cooley Creek will surround the White Mountain community’s proposed major recreational area, envisioned with lakes, streams, a swimming hole and other features. A variety of projected real estate parcels will offer large and smaller homesites, including lots located in more wooded settings and clusters of juniper. Beautiful land worthy of the historic Cooley name.
Current Plat is conceptual only. Final plat will occur in future, when available homesites will be listed. Please
